BEHIND THE PRINT
VINTAGE FLOWERS
The Vintage Sepia Flowers print captures a nostalgic autumnal vibe, blending cool tones and warm hues to create a design that feels both timeless and evocative. With its roots in a vintage textile discovered in a thrift shop, this pattern features a delicate mix of steel blue flowers against a rich black background, with sun-faded hues adding depth. The design is further enhanced by the inclusion of autumnal oranges and reds, symbolizing the transition from summer to the deep, moody tones of fall. This archival NM print with its mix of larger and smaller floral motifs creates an endless flower patch effect, perfect for evoking a sense of autumnal charm and elegance.
WATER LILY
A true exploration into the lineage of Batik, our Waterlily print is representative of a deep, long-lasting heritage. Now available in Terracotta, this new shade of rusty red is like the sun as it kisses the horizon during a glorious sunset. Paisley florets dance across this backdrop, their practiced movements reminiscent of browned leaves twirling toward a grass and moss-coated forest floor. Dark maroon stripes are aligned on the pattern’s border, aligning perfectly with the design’s autumnal feel.
PAISLEY STRIPE
This design is a fresh interpretation of the iconic paisley pattern, reminiscent of large cypress trees bending gently in the wind and bountiful floral sprays. Our modern take on this historic print organizes paisley in stripes, both a playful design nod and allowing the fabric to be cut and paneled in a way that elongates silhouettes. The Black and Heather colorways are cotton, the warmer fabric a cohesive paring with their dark, resolute tones.

Maria Crimella
It is with great pleasure that we introduce you to our latest NM Collective Member, Maria Crimella. A painter both in practice and in lifestyle; Maria studied Fine Art at the National University of the Arts in Argentina, but it was her participation in post graduation clinics working alongside other artists that has helped to shape her understanding of artistic practice as more than just an activity, but truly a way of life. Maria is the embodiment of this belief; that art should surround us in our daily lives - a standard woven into our being.
Maria’s art, commitment to an artistic lifestyle, and belief in the power that art holds as a societal connector have left us completely enamored.
CRIMELLA was born out of Maria’s admiration of both textiles and nature; their ability to teach us a slower way of life. Each CRIMELLA collection starts with a set of personal questions - ideations to learn from, but rather than looking for answers Maria uses thread, color, wools, and textures that embody the learning - the series the answer.
