Meet Jen
For this season’s NM Collective, Nat partnered with Seattle-based multimedia artist Jen Ament to bring one of her most iconic linocuts -Seymore -to life in fabric. Working closely with our artisan team in Bali, Jen’s intricate, hand-carved imagery was reimagined in two striking colorways - Bone and Blood - capturing the essence of the season, the soul of the art, and the heritage of NM.
Jen brings a vibrant, surreal energy to everything she touches. Working across linocuts, murals, screen prints, and encaustic painting, her work explores the space between reality and the stories we tell ourselves to move through it. Her linocuts - carved and hand-pulled on stonehenge paper - mirror the tactile precision and intention behind traditional batik. The synergy between Jen’s practice and our own printmaking felt like kismet. Magic was made.
Her work lives in the homes of some of the most discerning collectors (Nat included) and has appeared in partnerships with iconic brands like Hermès and beloved Seattle institutions like Sea-Tac Airport. Whether on canvas, paper, walls - or now fabric - Jen’s work brings soul to every surface it touches.
We’re thrilled to be offering an array of Jen’s hand-pulled, numbered prints on our site. And if you're in Los Angeles, stop by our Melrose Flagship to see two large-scale encaustic works from Jen on view and available for purchase.
This collaboration marks a true fusion of vision and craft - and we can’t wait for you to experience it.
