Meet Monét
Natalie and Monét first met in their early twenties, just after Natalie had moved to Los Angeles from Australia. Natalie was working at a yoga dance studio where Monét took classes, and there was an immediate connection between them. Natalie was struck not only by Monét’s beauty - “somewhere between Brigitte Bardot and Anita Pallenberg” - but by her warmth and grounded nature, while Monét remembers Natalie as “so sweet and shy and new to LA.” Long before either of them knew where life or their careers would lead, they shared a natural creative kinship and a similar approach to style: feminine, instinctive, and entirely their own.
As Natalie began developing the brand, Monét naturally became part of its story. She embodied the spirit Natalie was always designing for: “feminine yet undone, glamorous without trying, sensual but deeply natural.” Monét lived in Natalie’s pieces, styling and wearing them in a way that felt personal and authentic, while Natalie’s silhouettes and sensibility became deeply woven into Monét’s own evolving style. Over the years, what began as friendship grew into a lasting creative relationship built on mutual admiration, inspiration, and a shared visual language. “When people see the collaboration they say, ‘Oh my god, it’s so you!’” Monét says, “but that’s because Natalie’s designs are so much a part of how I defined my own style.”
